Amazon.com Product Description Do away with plastic water bottles and go the reusable route with the Nalgene OTG. Made of super-tough Eastman Tritan polycarbonate, the OTG is the ultimate in mobile hydration, with a size that fits in most car cup holders, bike cages, and even exercise machines. In addition, the bottle offers an easy flip-top lid, so you can open the top with one hand for easy drinking on the go. Perhaps most importantly, the bottle's BPA-free construction is impact-, odor-, and stain-resistant, so you can enjoy your liquids without the dreaded plastic taste and smell. The OTG bottle--which boasts a sleek, slender profile--holds 24 ounces and weighs 0.26 pounds. About Nalgene Outdoor Based in Rochester, N.Y., Nalgene was founded in 1949 as a manufacturer of the first plastic pipette holder. The company soon expanded its product line to include state-of-the-art polyethylene labware under the Nalgene brand. By the 1970s, outdoor enthusiasts had discovered the taste and odor-resistant, leakproof, and rugged properties of Nalgene's large selection of plastic containers. In response to this emerging demand, Nalgene created a Consumer Products Division. In the ensuing years, Nalgene created a full line of bottles that were perfect for storing everything from water to powdered drinks to pancake mix to shampoo.

| Customer Reviews: An ok bottle, but I would recommend the more traditional Nalgenes. February 13, 2009 shellienetz (Winter Park, Florida) 32 out of 35 found this review helpful
I bought this bottle specifically for cycling...it's the right size for a bottle holder on a bike, so that's a benefit over the traditional Nalgenes.
The problem I have with this bottle is that when it's turned upside down, it leaks out the top. The rubber seal on the cap isn't sufficient to keep all the liquid inside, so you can forget about throwing it in your backpack unless you want everything else in there soaked.
Not your best work, Nalgene!
Best. Bottle. Ever. December 22, 2008 L. J. Williamson 22 out of 24 found this review helpful
Flip top lid is genius, and doesn't leak ever. I love that this fits nicely into a bike cage or auto cupholder but I don't have to squeeze it or suck at it like a hamster to get a drink. One-hand operation is smooth and simple. I can't recommend it highly enough.
Best bottle design. May 27, 2009 Lisa Longoria (Burlington, WI USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have owned many water bottles over the years. This is my favorite. It fits in standard cup holders in cars, strollers and water bottle carriers on bikes. It is quick and easy to open. The cap isn't in your way when you take a drink (turn it to the side). I like the amount of "flow" of the beverage you get with the size of the opening. If you want a swig to swallow a vitamin etc., it is harder to get enough fluid to do that with a straw-type, for example. The cap protects the area you put your mouth on so it isn't going to get dirt, sand, gunk or grit on it. I have not had any problems with leakage or the latch wearing out and the bottle is probably a couple of years old.
No plastic after-taste March 7, 2009 James N. Schwarting (Seattle suburb) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Water tastes great even after being in the bottle for a week. No plastic taste like other bottles. Had to learn to pinch the sides of the cap to release the cap. Opening the cover by pushing only on the release clip is very difficult. Will buy this bottle again if I need more. Good-bye to bisphenol bottles.
Carry-all December 29, 2008 Alyssa A. Lappen (Earth) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This bottle is made to carry in your hands or in your day pack side pocket, not loose in a bag. If you use it properly, "on the go" it's a great bottle for hikes and biking. It's small enough to carry, but big enough to quench your thirst for several hours of activity. A great buy, all the way around.
